Save your time and money! You don't have to search and purchase individually all necessary items, supplies and hardware to make Ultimate carry all bag.
Supply kit for this bag contains all necessary hardware, zippers, interfacing, ironing pad, double fold elastic and twill tape, mesh, vinyl badges , vinyl bags, webbing.
The kit DOES NOT contain exterior and interior fabric for the bag and pockets, - that's your choice!
Please, leave me a note of the preferred colors for the bag you will be making, or at least Dark or Light and I will try to match it. Otherwise I will send you random colors.
The kit includes:
- precut pieces of fusible stabilizers Pellon 808 or 809 and Peltex 71-F;
- precut piece of pre-quilted ironing pad fabric, which has heat resistant aluminized coating to prevent melting fusible web from sticking, when working with fusible applique projects. You will need to add 2 strips 1 1/4" x 11" of matching fabrics to the sides of the pad (details in tutorial);
- precut pieces of mesh fabric for pockets: 4" x 7" for small front pocket and 2 pieces of 5" x 13" and 5" x 16" for 2 large pockets;
- 2 pieces of twill tape 7" and 13.5" for the bottom of small front pocket and 1 large pocket;
- double fold elastic for the top of mesh pockets: 7" for small pocket, 13 1/2" for middle large pocket and 13" for the folded back pocket. You will need to fold and stretch elastic when sewing mesh fabric in the fold;
- 16" elastic strip 3/4" wide for the loops to hold pencils and tools;
- polyester webbing (for handle straps) and piece of poly foam piping cord to reinforce handles;
- 2 clear vinyl badge holders;
- 3 detachable vinyl clear bags with pockets and swivel hook to hold them together;
- 4 pair of 3/8" snap fasteners for the sides of the bag. Special tool required for applying.
- 1 separating purse zipper 12” long;
- 1 zipper 7” for the exterior pocket on the front of the bag.
- 2 zippers 12” long (for 2 large inside pockets);
- 1 zipper 6” long (for small inside front pocket).
If you receive longer zipper(s), please, don't worry, when you read the tutorial, you will learn how to hide those ends, when sewing them in, and then cut them off, so there is no problem if they are a little longer. Sometimes I run out fast of my supplies and have to substitute them.
Clear vinyl bags come in the color you chose your kit or in random matching colors if you chose Dark or Light random.
You can purchase additional vinyl clear bags in two sizes: small 4" x 10" and large 6" x 10" also in my Quiltess.com shop.
